Dive deep into your net worth with tools like automatic home value detection to keep a close eye on your assets and liabilities.
Mint allowed you to keep a high-level view of your net worth, without the ability to dive deep into your assets and liabilities.
We don’t let ads get in the way of your finances, and you pay what is fair for the features we provide in Premium.
Mint made you pay a recurring fee to remove ads that interrupted your experience. We don’t.
We don’t just track your goals, we help you reach them. Create goals within Rocket Money and save for them automatically using our Financial Goals feature.
While Mint let you track goals, it didn’t help you reach them. Rocket Money enables you to save automatically to reach goals faster.
We provide a clean, visual approach to your finances while still allowing you to dive deep into the details that matter
Mint gave you a high-level view of your finances, but skipped the details. For example, you couldn’t see your net worth split by assets and liabilities.
We partner with Plaid, the gold-standard for financial account linking, used by giants like Venmo.
Mint’s in-house linking system meant they were responsible for all issues and outages.
We provide top-tier subscription and bill detection, no matter the frequency. We even negotiate bills for you and cancel subscriptions at the push of a button.
Mint users often reported missed subscriptions, while Rocket Money started with this feature since Day 1.
Our live customer support team stands ready to assist with any issue, large or small.
Mint’s customer support didn’t give you the option to talk with a live representative.
When will I need to find a Mint alternative?

Yes! You can bring your Mint data with you to Rocket Money via an import tool on the Rocket Money desktop experience.
Which features will Credit Karma lack?
Intuit, which owns both Credit Karma and Mint, will be encouraging users to switch to Credit Karma. However, Credit Karma will not offer the same budgeting tools that Mint has offered. Credit Karma users will not be able to do the following:
Set monthly budgets
Budget by category
Fix transaction dates
Add notes to transactions
How do I choose a Mint alternative?
You’ll likely want to consider which features you care about most, the user interface and the level of support provided. User reviews can also be a great tool to help you decide. Ultimately, it’s a personal choice, but we think Rocket Money stands out from the pack.
