When we launched Truebill in 2016, we simply set out to build a tool we ourselves would want to use: a platform to keep track of money and subscriptions.
Five years and $18 billion of transactions later, we've helped around seven million people through some of the worst financial circumstances in United States history. Each day, our product, support, and data science teams help members achieve important financial goals, from big to small.
We're proud to say that we've also achieved some of our own financial goals.
Today, we're pleased to announce our $45 million Series D round of funding led by Accel, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Eldridge Industries, and Cota Capital.
In addition to expanding teams on marketing, growth, product, and data science, our new capital will fuel several robust projects we're excited to share with you today.
New savings experience
We're building an autopilot savings experience that will help our members save more of their hard earned money. "Autopilot," as it's called today, will analyze income and spending behaviors to help members save the right amount. Members save more, do less, and best of all, avoid overdraft fees.
Net worth tracking
Part of our mission is to give members complete visibility over their finances so they can feel empowered to make better, holistic financial decisions. Our new net worth tool, "Grow," will make it easier for members to track their net worth, credit score, assets, and debt.
Web platform
You asked, we listened. Truebill is working on a new web platform that will allow members to dive even deeper into their finances. Members can reach their goals through personalized insights, custom budgets, subscription cancelation and monitoring, and spend tracking all on a bigger screen.
New logo
Last but not least, we've redesigned our logo, taking an obvious cue from you guessed it… money! The new logo represents two dollar bills folded to form a lowercase "t" (for Truebill, of course).
